This Scandinavian modernist ring has a highly sculptural surface with the contrast between the shallow and surface areas heightened by the matte and shiny finishes. I find his work of this type to be reminiscent of Lapponia and have similar rings listed(item #282, item #1241). This ring is marked with Hyvarinen's MJH makers mark, 925, the city mark for Turku and V7 for 1974. These Scandinavian silver earrings, by Karl Laine are from the 1970s. Though these are not marked at all, I sold the matching necklace about a year ago (item #485). these are 1 1/4 in diameter and for pierced ears. very sculptural and three dimensional. Great look.

Great architectural Scandinavian sterling ring from Finland. Made by Kupittaan Kulta, this has a strong three dimensional design that makes great use of negative space. Marked inside the shank with the makers mark and 925 for sterling, this is a size 7 but could easily be resized. The top of the ring measures 1/2 inch by 5/8ths of an inch. (14mm x 15mm)

A rare and extraordinary sterling and lapis Art Nouveau bracelet by Danish designer Evald Nielsen (1879-1958)who opened his workshop in 1907. The lapis stone appears to be bursting out of the flower bud. The detail and craftsmanship is exquisite. Measuring 8" end to end, it is 3/4" wide. Fine original condition and signed as shown. Beautiful in every way.

Iconic design by Finnish sculptor and jewelry designer Bjorn Weckstrom for Lapponia Jewelry. This ring, called the Mask of Gonda, is a miniature sculpture inspired by the human figure. Weckstrom casts his jewellery models in plaster as three-dimensional forms. Each one is a mini-sculpture that is spontaneous and as fresh today as the day it was created. The ring is just under a size 6, and is in excellent condition and fully signed. Shipping and insurance will be $6.

This is a great mod pendant from Anton Michelsen, by Knud Andersen. A substantial piece, the contast between the solid silver bars and the matte bark like surface adds to the visual impact. The pendant measures about 2 1/4 in diameter and is marked on the rear KVA, the Michelsen mark,925S and Danmark. It comes with a 21 inch sterling snake chain which is not original to the piece.

A spectacular sterling and multi color enamel bracelet by the Norwegian company Balle. This is a heavy hinged cuff with a pin closure and safety chain. The enamel is in fine condition and the colors are vibrant. Measuring 7 1/4" around in the inside, it is 1 1/4" wide and weighs 104 grams. Signed as shown. Magnificent.
