Wonderful Modernist necklace by Pentti Sarpaneva. A bronze necklace with a lovely, abstract floral surmount, from which is suspended a slice of agate set in a modern, pod ringed bezel. Great looking piece which words just cannot accurately describe. Dimensions: The agate dangle is 1 7/8" long and just over 2" wide; the floral surmount is 1 3/8" long and the chain is 25 inches long. A sterling silver Scandinavian ring by Finnish artist, Matti Hyvarinen. Highly sculptural, the ring has contrasting shiny and matte carved surfaces typical of Hyvarinen and contemporary Bjorn Weckstrom
of Lapponia. The marks are extremely rubbed out, but the ring is signed in script and also marked with MJH and 925. Typical of the shank styles utilized, this is open on the side and does have some give. It is currently a size 8 1/2 and is in excellent condition.

Unusual sterling silver and porcelain drop necklace from Porsgrund of Norway. The designer attributed to this piece is Anne Marie Odegaard. The white porcelain ball is decorated in a gold abstract design and it is 1 1/4 inch in diameter. The chain, which is 16 inches long has a small plaque marked with the Porsgrund markers mark, 925S and Norway Sterling. Phenomenal sterling with a very light gold wash Moderne blue and white enamel signed bracelet. The bracelet measures an incredible 2 1/2"W X 7 1/4"L. The guilloche enamel has different patterns. Signed with an S in a shield and 925S. Excellent condition. Could use a little polishing. Extraordinary bracelet. Absolutely gorgeous.

This modernist sterling silver necklace is by Hermann Siersbol which started business in the 1940s. It is marked on the toggle - 925S and HS. In excellent condition, it has comprised of 14 boomerang shaped links - very mid century iconic. It reminds me of Henning Koppel's designs which no doubt this was based on. Excellent condition and 16" long.
