A spectacular and rare multi color sterling necklace by the Danish firm Anton Michelsen. This necklace is from the "Rainbow" series produced late 60's early 70's. It features beautiful hand wrought silver spines that have been oxidized and gilded to produce a rainbow effect. It measures 16" end to end and is 1" wide. It weighs 87 grams and is in fine original condition. Signed as shown. Incredibly gorgeous!!!

This is a Scandinavian bronze necklace by Pentti Sarpaneva. His organic, "crunchy" designs are often executed in bronze though he also worked in silver. The pendant on this piece is 3" x 1 1/4" and the chain, which is original is 25 inches. This has a wonderful, warm mellow color and a less commonly seen design and is in fine condition. It is marked on the rear, P.SARPANEVA.

Large Scandinavian bronze necklace designed by Pentti Sarpaneva in 1969. As with many of his bronze pieces part of the surface has been blackened to create a further contrast. Most of Sarpaneva's designs are very organic and this is one of my favorites. It is very large, measuring 3 1/4 inches long by just over 3 inches wide.
