A beautifully painted watercolor of a country scene by Thomas Eyre Macklin (1867-1943). Macklin was a landscape and portrait painter, sculptor and illustrator who exhibited extensively, including The Walker Gallery, The Royal Academy (17 times), The Royal Society of British Artists and The Royal Scottish Academy. Listed in Davenport's, artprice.com. As framed the painting is 12" by 10", the image measures 7.5" by 5.5". (modern frame)

Beautiful Romantic period 11" x 8" oil on panel titled "The Miniature", depicting three beautiful young women, admiring the portrait miniature pendant of the young lady in the center. This piece was painted circa 1820 by British artist Thomas Harper (act. 1817-1843), who was a painter of portrait miniatures himself. In excellent condition, in fantastic original frame.
