This is a charming painting of a small terrier, probably a Skye or a Yorkie, maybe a Brussels...he can be anything you want him to be! Animals are hard to paint and this one is skillfully done with a great deal of expression in the eyes and face. It is oil on canvas, and there is some damage to the canvas with some loss of paint running vertically across as though it was folded or rolled up.
