Original Stone Lithograph of a Young Woman with Child, restrike, mid-Century, by well-known, listed artist, Raphael Soyer (1899 Russia - 1987 NY), Signed in the Stone, sepia ink. Image is 8" x 10.5" (20.32 x 26.67 cm), matted and framed to 16" x 19" x .75" (40.64 x 48.26 x 1.90 cm). Slight yellowing near the mat; we recommend it be replaced with an acid-free mat, scratches on glass; otherwise excellent condition. c. 1950-1960. $18 US Shipping.

These are much sought after engravings, and I was very happy to find this pair. They are hand colored and engraved by C.R. Stock, the originals draw by Henry Alken. They are 19th century sporting art pieces, and depict 4 scenes of a cock fight. The first is titled "Set Too", the next is "Fight", followed by "Throat" and "Death". There is some toning I would say, and a some foxing in the margins of one print. That one print doesn't lay quite flat along the right side either. None of this is... Click for details
