This is a wonderful polychrome carved wood statue of a Holy Man , possibly 18th Century or earlier, wood carving with layer of gesso, looks like image from antiquity, figure wearing robe and cape holding book in proper left hand and missing object that was held in other hand perhaps a staff, carved from same piece of wood, worm holes throughout the back, fair to good condition, measures 29" high

This is an early polychrome wooden statue of St. Aloysius Gonzaga, Patron Saint of Youth, probably Spanish, late 18th to early 19th Century, wood carving with layer of gesso on a plinth base, St Aloysius is standing clothed in Jesuit garb, very nice detail of facial features and clothing, statue is in fair to good condition, in need of restoration, has chips in several places, fingers broken in proper left hand, measures 35 in H.

This is a wonderful, small sculpture of a fine fat sow. The pig is seated on a black oval base, one leg tucked under. Very well cast, realistically modelled and painted. The paint is nearly all intact, with a little wear on the high spots, some hand grime, and some paint has crusted up near the mouth. This pig has a terrific tail. This is a Beautifully Carved IVORY FIGURINE. Depicted are 2 CRANES Standing near a LOTUS Plant.
The Detail shows the CRANES, one with the Fish and the other nearby, and the LOTUS FLOWERS and LEAVES. Size is 8 1/2" Tall X 4" in width; 9" tall with the Wood Stand. Condition is EXCELLENT. This CHINESE IVORY Carving dates circa second 1/4 of the 20th Century. Great PIERCED CARVING and Detail giving the 3 Dimensional Look. Add to the Collection.
