Offered here is a charming iron umbrella or walking stick stand constructed of iron slats that have been formed into these wonderful, fanciful shapes. Well made, sturdy and perfectly charming. No flaws that I can see except the expected wear to the paint. 23" high (not counting the curls at the top) with a 9" opening at the top.

This tansu is crafted almost entirely from Kiri, or Paulownia wood, prized by Japanese furniture makers for being strong, lightweight, and naturally resistant to damage from pests or the elements.
