Offered here is a charming, hand painted venetian cabinet that can either hang on the wall or stand on a table top. Painted in a faded aqua with garnet interior, the colors are wonderful. The decorative carving is in a light colored wood. It has a glass door and a non working key, but the door stays closed on it's own. Very pretty lines to the piece. The dimensions are 22" across, 25" high (at the highest point) and approximately 8" deep. The cabinet dates to early (ish) 20th century.

Offered here is one of two early 20th century giltwood, trumeau style mirrors with classical figures in relief in the top panel. Each mirror has slightly different figures in the top panel, but work well as a pair, if one desires, since they are identical in every other aspect. These were made in Italy, and bought in Italy, and date to around 1930-1940 in my estimation. There is some wear to the edges, as is typical of this type of work, but I consider that an enhancement rather than a detractio... Click for details

We have a wonderful brass ormalu mounted animal horn Epergne. Some might call this a cornucopia or horn of plenty. The detail of the mounting alone is wonderful, but the addtional fittings on the horn itself show that this epergne was quality made. Pieces like this in the $1,000's when you find one. This antique piece though is quite reasonable. The brass base is sturdy and has very ornate scrolling detail. It is a quite large, measuring 14” from end to end and is 17” tall and measures 4” ... The hinges are original are work perfectly. It stands 5 ¼” tall on four finely carved feet and measures 8 ¼” by 6 ¾”. Wouldn’t this look fabulous right on the center of your dresser?

We are delighted to offer for sale one of the most beautiful mirrors I've had in awhile. It measures 44.5" by 62.5", so it's size alone is impressive. The frame is in very good condition. The water gilding is beginning to fade in some areas, and there are a few nicks around the back edge (not the decorative part). The wear is unobtrusive and not unexpected in an antique piece, even one with as much obvious care as this mirror has received. The beveled mirror is an old replacement. Do see al...
