Ornate wood frame with gesso-molded leaf corners; fruit, berries, pinecones, leaves on outer rim; cathedral-style arches and fleur d'lis on two inner sections. Measuring 8.25" x 10.25" (20.95 x 25.03 cm) inside, and 11.50" x 13.75" x 2.25" (29.21 x 34.92 x 5.71 cm) outside. Condition is not perfect, and we have tried to show the worst areas in photos. It's so rare to find such a perfect little gem as this truly tiny period frame, in original condition. It stands not quite 3" tall, the site dimensions being only 1" by 1.25". The frame is patinated copper and gilt metal, has it's original glass, and the easel back is all original as well. The condition is excellent.

This lovely antique brass frame is French, circa 1900. It is designed in the form of a book which opens to reveal four sections for photos. It has pierced, engraved decorations and is as beautiful opened as it is closed. It measures 6 3/4 inches long x 10 1/2 inches across. It measures 5 1/4 inches wide when closed. The frame has the makers mark of Mon Alph Giroux, Paperie de Lux. The finish is beautiful and condition is excellent.

Reverse painted frame. Circa 1930. Silver metal frame with silver and black reverse painted glass. Geometric designs to two opposite corners. Glass is in excellent condition. Minor pitting to bottom edge of metal frame. Original cardboard backing with strong easel. Measures 6" high x 5" wide. Picture exposure is approximately 3 7/8" high x 2 7/8" wide.
