Fine, early & rare signed J.M. Young book stand measuring 34" high, 27" wide and 13" deep. The stand is in excellent dark brown original finish with deep age patina. The piece is constructed with 1.25" thick vertical members through which the shelves are mortised and keyed. All boards are straight and tight quartered oak. This is a rare stand by this prominent maker of the arts & crafts period. Signed with the J.M. Young label under the bottom shelf.

Rare L&JG Stickley conjoined period (c. 1917) lamp table measuring 20" in diameter and 29" tall. The table retains it's original dark fumed quartered Oak finish and is in excellent condition. Construction details include cloud lift lower stretchers and a finely crafted upper table apron. The piece is not marked but can be seen in the book Stickley Brothers Furniture (Gustav, L&JG, Charles, and SB Co.) by Collector Books, pg. 224.
