I love the graceful shape and the elegant carving on this Louis XV style fauteuil. Look at the pictures for the beautiful color where many hands have burnished the wood for many , many years. The needlepoint is a deep, rich brown (though the pictures don't pick up the color quite correctly), and the flowers are abundant on the back and the seat. The chair is in fine condition with an old repair to the left arm. 19th century.

This mirror matches the bed and armoire I have listed in this catalog. It is approximately 29" high by 33" across. It has the same pediment on the top as the bed and wardrobe, with the faux bamboo trim along the pediment and the sides of the mirror. The back of the mirror is board. The mirror is old, probably the original, and it is in excellent condition. Wonderful, crackly finish. (Please see the other picture for a close up of the trim.)

Fine French faux bamboo 3/4 size bed. This is a good size for a quest room or a young persons room. It has the original sides and hardware. The interior measurements are 48" by 77". The headboard is 50" from the floor. Beautiful old pine with an old crackly finish, and beautifully made. This is the bed that matches the wardrobe in the earlier listing.

Fabulous French armoire of pine and maple, and dates to around 1850-1875. The size is approximately 90" high, 38" across and 20" deep. There is one drawer on the bottom, and it will take shelves with ease. The entire piece breaks down for easy transport or storage, and it is easy to put back up. Fine craftsmanship and excellent condition.

Gorgeous 18th century doors from a wardrobe or important cabinet. Exquisite hardware and carving, wonderful patina to the wood. This is a great piece in old red paint with the even older blue showing faintly through in places. Two drawers with cast bin type pulls, and two doors open to reveal three shelves. A wonderful primitive piece that is both decorative and utilitarian. Condition is fine. Size is 43" wide by 51" at the highest point.
