Handel obverse and reverse painted table lamp decorated on a chipped ice conical shade with a border of multi dimensional trumpet daffodils and radiating vertical leaves. The interior of shade is inscribed "Handel 5645" and bearing the initial "R" for William Runge, believed by many to be one of Handel's finest decorators. A great looking and early Handel leaf & berry overlay lamp. The Handel Lamps Book by highly respected Handel experts Carole and John Hibel & John Fontaine, indicate that this lamp produced by Handel in 1906 were called "Teroca" and introduced their new line of painted overlay lamps. Very nice all original large size Handel desk lamp. This is the larger of the two desk lamps that Handel made and is rare in comparison to the lower 8” wide shade. The shade and base are in excellent condition with the base having areas of green verdigris over the bronze giving it a great look of the ages. The lamp measures 15" high with a 12" wide shade. Pittsburgh reverse painted lamp of sheep being tended in a beautiful dense green field bordered a stream and tall trees. The lamp measures 21-1/2" high and 18" wide. Very nice Miller reverse painted lamp measuring 22" tall and 16" wide. The lamp shade is comprised of 6 panels decorated with birds and brightly colored flowers. One of the six panels has a repaired crack running horizontally, which is above the decoration so the crack does not interfere with the scene on this one panel. The lamp is signed as shown.
