A rare find in this...Luscious snow white, art glass lamp with pink roses, undoubtedly created by the Venetian glasshouse of Barovier or Barbini, most likely between 1900 and 1940. New wiring to US standards. Over quilted white glass which is heavily flecked with real silver, are three large pink roses, all included with real gold dust. Offered here is a beautiful and beautifully carved soapstone figure, Quan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy, made into a lamp in about 1930. The figure is carved all around. She stands on a double base of embossed gilt metal and carved wood. The lamp rod runs up the back rather than through the figure. The shade is new, as is the finial, and the lamp has been rewired. The lamp stands 27.5" high to the top of the finial.

Offered here is a wonderful majolica lamp. It stands approximately 24" high to the top of the finial. It is fitted with a new silk shade. The base has a pretty green, brown and blue mottled glaze with two applied flowers on the front. The flowers each have a small rim chip. The neck is rope twist brass. The bottom is a brass base fitted onto a larger black piece, and it is heavy for it's size. It is a delightful lamp in any location, and one not likely to be seen elsewhere. Early to mid ... This is an absolutely gorgeous lamp of translucent, carved stone (these lamps are referred to as jade, but I don't think they technically are). There is a tiny light inside the base (that turns on seperately) that glows through the amber colored veins in the stone. A rope twist rod of brass supports the silk shade. There is a pierced brass cap on top of the carved stone with has a pale pink carved scarab. This piece is removable so you can get to the tiny light bulb inside. The lamp stands ... Click for details

This Sevres porcelain lamp measures 35" tall, and dates to circa 1850. The lamp depicts two playful children on one side, and a floral scene on the other. The ornate figural base is of gilt bronze. This piece is in great condition, although it looks to be missing something out of the child's hand on the base of the lamp.
