This is a gorgeous hand carved pin safe – or pin keeper – or pincushion. It has a superbly carved geometric pattern on both sides. The pincushion edge is original vintage purple velvet seamed together with an equally old silk ribbon. Measures about 1 3/4 inches across and 5/8 inch thick. Excellent condition. Wonderful Victorian sewing collectible.
