This handsome, two-tiered, clear glass, apothecary showglobe on a pedestal base is from the 1920's era.

Measuring 12 inches tall, this pharmacy collectible sports a decorative, multi-ribbed stopper. Both the base and stopper can be filled with colored water if desired. A rare 8'long North African spear or javelin from Ethiopia with the original shaft and inlaid blade. The head blade is about 14" long by 2" widest and the socket is about 10" long. Shaft diameter is about 1", of hard wood and has great patina. This is a Coptic spear as evidenced by the metal inlay with a cross. Both head and socket are well decorated. The head is steel, with a little tarnish. The socket is bronze. It cases the shaft to give it strength. A well made long spear. ... Click for details
