Japanese moriage cloisonne vase with koi. Finely rendered so that the koi appear real with their heads in raised enamel (moriage) and their bodies fading into the water. The shadowy form of a third fish appears in the lower left side of the vase. Meiji Period. 7 1/2" high x 6 1/2" wide.
