An awesome 28" long Mezcala necklace, ca. 400 BC. This outstanding strand contains a well-matched variety of graduated round, disk and large tubular greenstone beads. Many are nicely polished and pretty colored stones of the mottled green and greenish-gray types. A 1-1/8" high bell-shaped flare makes a stunning pendant.

Mayan Incised Vase from Guatemala, Late Classic period, ca. 550-950 AD. This exceptional blackware cylinder features an animated dancing shaman figure deeply molded on two sides, distinguished by upraised arms, elaborate headdress, and posed in a crouching manner. Remains of red cinnabar inlay decorate the carved panels. The vessel is nearly 7" high and has a 6" diameter. Professionally restored.
