A light blue glazed faience ushabti figure with moulded features.
The facial details and implements are all clearly represented and the front of the figure is moulded with a T-shape hieroglyphic inscription. The hieroglyphs are clear and legible but have not been translated by us.
Intact. Yellowing of glaze to lower section.
Late Dynastic Period, 730 - 332 BC.
Size: 10.6 x 2.8 cms
Provenance: Ex: private UK collection.
Mounted on a round black painted stand.

A good quality moulded and glazed turquoise faience amulet in the form of the Egyptian holy Triad of deities. Each figure is clearly depicted with elongated limbs and detailed faces. Also, each crown is easily discernible, identifying the figures as the sisters Isis and Nephthys flanking the child god Harpocrates shown with a side-lock of youth.
Intact except for a small chip to the front corner of the base.

A very finely moulded blue glazed faience plaque depicting the mummiform standing figure of Imseti. Before the figure is the Feather of Maat (truth).
This plaque would have been part of a set of four, sewn across the chest of a mummy.
Imseti was one of the four sons of Horus, he was portrayed as a mummified human.
Imseti's role was to protect the liver of the deceased and was the guardian of the South. He was protected by the goddess Isis.

A limestone carved figure of the head of a Uraeus cobra. The figure is well detailed, particularly the right eye area, there are traces of red pigment in the incisions around the thorax.
Ptolemaic Period, 332 - 30 BC.
Chipped and worn in places. The lower part is squared-off implying that this is a complete object, but probably intended for a composite statue or as an ornament set into another object.

A small carved alabaster vessel with two lug handles in the form of an alabastron.
Both the Aryballos and the Alabastron served the same purpose, to contain perfumed oils to anoint yourself after bathing or exercise and were very common in daily use, as soap is today and varied in their production from simple leather vessels to elaborately painted pottery ones.
Late Dynastic Period - 730 - 332BC - Dynasties XXIV - XXXI.
Intact with minor chips to rim

A solid cast bronze figure of a striding male figure - Nefertum
The figure wears a kilt and a very tall crown. Behind the crown is a suspension loop so that the figure could be worn as an amulet. The figure also wears a prominent false beard and wig.
Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 730 -332 BC.
Lower legs missing, otherwise intact.

The head is painted with a black fillet and the back is painted with a large seed bag. To the front the figure has moulded facial details and implements.
Egypt, Third Intermediate Period, 1085 - 730 BC.
Repaired in two places across middle, otherwise well preserved surface and colour, with some accretions.

A bronze amulet in the form the god Osiris in typical standing mummiform pose holding the crook and flail and wearing the plumed crown.
Osiris (in Greek) was king of the Underworld and originally a god of agriculture and nature. His origin is disputed and he first appeared during dynasty five. A blue/green glazed faience necklace or pectoral terminal in the form of the head of the hawk god Ra-Horakhte wearing the Sun Disc crown.
The front of the piece is moulded and incised with details to the face and shoulders, the back is plain.
