The great grandson of Tamerlane, Babar, who on his mother's side was descended from the famous Genghis Khan, came to India in 1526 at the request of an Indian governor who sought Babar's help in his fight against Ibrahim Lodi, the last head of the Delhi Sultanate. The god is shown in traditional fashion, with four arms and holding four symbolic items--a conch shell, lotus, wheel and mace. The decorative interior shutters have iron hinges, hasp and chain. When used as wall art, the shutter can be hung in one piece or the sides separated and hung as two single pieces. The shutters are in very good condition. Dimensions: he... Click for details
