Conical bowl, decorated incised with freely scroll design on interior, Song dynasty, Ding ware, found on Borneo/Kalimantan. Condition: two tiny chips, no crack or restored. Diameter: 12.6 cm and High: 4.5 cm.

Made of natural French black walnut with gold plating and faux pearls, these turtles are charmers. Marked Yves Saint Laurent, Rive Gauche, and Made in France on the cartouche on the back of the pin. Each earring has the same cartouche markings. Probably from the 1960's, the pin is 2 1/8" nose to tail, 1/5/8" flipper to flipper, and 3/4" tummy to top. Clip earrings are 1 5/8 by 1 1/2" by 1/2".

A finely potted and painted blue & white bowl, decorated outside with Chrysanthemum scroll and inside with a white on blue Lotus pond.Ming dynasty 16th-17th century. Fabulous Art Deco enamel pendant by German designer Carl Schibensky. Gorgeous shades of pinks and black comprise this very lively pattern. It measures 1 3/8" diameter and is in fine original condition. There is a bail in the back for a chain.It is hallmarked in the enamel with an S in a circle which is Carl Schibensky's hallmark and also has its' original paper label. A very special piece.

One of two paintings currently offered by the highly sought after literati artist Fukuda Kodojin (1865-1944) featuring an erratic image of the full moon seen through bristling pine performed in thin ink on paper and enclosed in the original signed wooden box dated 1925. Birds fly over the stubble of harvested rice fields, while odd thatch-roofed huts sprouting from wind beat grass focus our attention on the dark forested left of the scene. The vigorous brushwork and complexity of the scene belie the typical scenes of cold winter death, and seems to intimate a hidden energy busy at the task of Preparing for spring...

The character Take (bamboo) is struck with six brisk strokes of dark ink on this Chagake tea scroll signed Mitsuhiro (Karasuma Mitsuhiro, 1578-1638) and dated 1631. The calligraphy is exquisite. Mitsuhiro was born the son of Karasuma Mitsunobu (1543-1606) and, like his auspicious father, was a well known poet and songwriter accomplished in calligraphy...

A Large Spanish Colonial Brass Candlestick, or Altar Stick from circa 1750. It has a 4" Drip Plate, a Turned Shaft, a Coat of Arms Seal in the Tripod base that stand on Three Paw Feet. It is 14.5" high x 7.25" wide at the tripod base. It weighs an imposing 3 pounds 8 ounces. It is in very good condition for a period piece.

A Late Victorian Quilt or Towel rack; Pine and Oak, with Three Double Spindle Hangers. Dimensions 28.5" wide x 28" high x 12" deep. Very moderate wear for its age, circa 1880-1900.

A rare celadon tripod censer, standing on three leg, the lipped everted rim applied with two handles in the form of Dragon, covered overall with an olive-green glaze, Song dynasty LongQuan ware. Condition: repaired one chip to rim, further in perfect condition. Diameter: 8 cm and High: 6.7 cm.

A beautiful pair of long dangling sterling and amethyst earrings with their original box by Mexican silversmith Emma Melendez. These are screwback earrings with a lovely scrolling design top and hanging teardrop shaped amethyst. They measure 2" long with the top part being 1/2" wide. They are in fine original condition and signed Sterling Made in Mexico 806A. They come with their original box which says PLATERIA EMMA. Gorgeous on and a great box.
