Rare and exceptional double fish bracelet with 6 amethysts by Margot De Taxco. There is a cabachon amethyst in each eye and one in each upper and lower gill. The detail on this bracelet is quite extraordinary. The bracelet is hinged in the back and opens and closes in the front. The hinge is tight and the bracelet is in excellent original condition. It weighs 106 grams and measures 6" around in the inside and 4" wide in the front, narrowing to 1" at the back hinge where the fish fins meet...

Lovely vintage sterling mid-century modern biomorphic pin. Circa 1955. Not marked but tests positive for sterling silver. With a cabochon cut and bezel set genuine moonstone.

Over the top extraordinary, large, long sterling and enamel screwback earrings by Margot De Taxco. Vibrant yellow and black enamel with center dots in green, red and pale purple that look like jewels. These measure 2 1/8" long and are 1" at the widest part. They are in fine original condition. There are no chips, cracks or flaws to the enamel and they have not been repaired. They are completely, simply spectacular.

Fabulous vintage bracelet in dark goldtone metal with huge prong set glass cabochons simulating amethysts, framed in rope twist settings. Very weighty and substantial. Possibly French. Circa 1950. With a foldover clasp. The oblong stones are set in crown shaped prongs. 7 1/2 inches wearable length, 1 1/8 inches wide and 7/8 inch deep. The largest stones are 1 inch long. Excellent condition. A charming sterling and white and silver fleck enamel necklace, bracelet and earring set by Margot De Taxco. The double flower design is feminine but bold and it is so nice to have a matching set. The necklace measures 17" end to end and the flowers are 7/8" by 7/8". The bracelet is 7 1/2" end to end and the screwback earrings are 7/8" by 7/8". All pieces are in fine original condition with no enamel loss at all and all pieces are signed and numbered as shown. Great enamel work.

SALVADOR TERAN DOUBLE STYLIZED PEPPER NECKLACE featured on page 130 of the catalogue from the WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE exhibit.It is c.1955-60. It is 15" around in the inside and 1 1/8" wide at the wide pepper end. Secure push in clasp, fine original condition. Signed and numbered for Salvdor Teran as shown.A wonderful piece by this important Taxco silversmith.

I have seen only one other of this signed Salvador Teran bracelet. The stones are fitted perfectly with onyx. There are 2 sets of hinges that give a comfortable fit. The face front is 1 1/8th inches tall and tapers to half an inch in the back. A very thick Mexican silver bracelet with a weight of 80 grams. The inside diameter is 2.25in. and will fit most. Certainly should be put on a collectors list of must haves.

An exceptional 970 silver and onyx bracelet by Antonio Pineda,c.1955. This bracelet is featured on page 148 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk only with amethysts rather than onyx. It measures 7 3/4" around in the inside and is 1 3/4" wide. Fine original condition, no chips or cracks to the stones. It weighs 120 grams and is signed as shown. A great Antonio modernist bracelet.

A very sculptural and tactile sterling bracelet by Macefield. William Mason and Leonard Field were a collaborative effort of artist/jewelers from Winchester, MA. ( the North Shore ) who were most active in the late 40's and 50's. They signed their creations "Macefield". All of their pieces were hand made and one of a kind. This unique bracelet of overlapping planes measures 6" around in the inside plus a 1" opening. It is 1 1/2" wide in the front and tapers to 1" at the terminals...
