Standing on the balcony he puts light to a hanging lantern, illuminating cherry blossoms wrapped in evenings misty veil beyond the rail. This is an excellent example of Meiji period Yamato-e signed Saiho which has been fully re-mounted in quality patterned brocade, and retaining the original bone rollers...

Guaranteed Mark of Henryk Winograd high 3 D repousse ring with indentation mark : HW 999, although this has been photographed a dozen or more times to no avail, as the mark is deeply impressed and very camera shy. Terrific 3D Ring with the look of a Classic Profile of 'Greek or Roman' lady with leaves in her hair and wearing a cowl gown. Tests bright red, could no doubt be .999 silver that he preferred to use to create his earliest jewelry...

Here is a very rare early Edo period Ni-mai-do Gusoku prominently displaying a Christian cross like symbol on the front and back of the chest plate in gold. It has a simple kabuto of 6 vertically joined iron plates falling from a circular peak, with a three lame Shikoro. Displayed on front is a wooden crescent moon maedate covered in textured gold (likely a later reproduction). The mask is an unusual Hanpo with a very small mouth in the Momoyama style...

19th century (Qing Dynasty) Chinese Manchu style robe embroidered in gold couched threads highlighted in copper and blue-grey metallic threads with 8 visible 5-clawed dragons, plus one hidden dragon on the inside flap, depicted in full-face and profile poses against a blue ground. Each dragon is chasing a flaming pearl (symbolizing the Buddhist notion of enlightenment) and is surrounded by clouds and various auspicious symbols...

ON HOLD. Vintage modernist unsigned, tested sterling silver hammered forged necklace with odd size links & 3 light blue ceramic beads on 3 hammered paddle drops. Does this not have a vague ish Fannie Hillsmith ish look to it? Nearby NH is lucky to have had a modernist artist such as Fannie Hillsmith living there. The Free earrings have same ceramic beads and appear to have been made using fancy sterling clips marked: "Ster. Pat. 1967965" representing the years 1934 to 1935...
