Scrambled glass paperweight, millefiori, broken canes, chunks and blurred murrines cased in VASELINE glass by Fratelli Toso. Measures 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm) wide by 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm) tall. Has KB Import label and Blue on silver foil AF MURANO Cockerel label. Condition is excellent with no bruises, cracks or scratches. Circa 1950 - 1960.
This eye-catching design by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar measures 18" long by 1" wide and weighs 105 grams. Hand-wrought in 940 sterling silver, this mid 20th century necklace is in beautiful condition with a tight and secure clasp. Hallmarked on the clasp HA 940 TAXCO with eagle #9. Early William Spratling 980 silver bracelet with the marks dating it 1933-40. Spratling hallmarks can be reviewed on the website www.spratlingsilver.com. Classic, recognizable Spratling design, this bracelet has a pin closure and measures 6 3/4" end to end and is 7/8" wide. It is one of the bracelets featured on page 43 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk.Fine original condition, nice patina. Appropriately signed as shown. A great early Spratling bracelet.
An unusual and very interesting 940 silver necklace by Hector Aguilar. More delicate than most others, it measures 15" long and 3/8" wide. It weighs 51 grams and is in fine original condition. The links are continuous and the clasp is invisible. Hallmarked for Hector Aguilar as shown. Simple and elegant.
A young Maiko parts the curtains of an Okiya Tea-house entrance, perhaps on her way to training, or to begin a night of traditional entertainment through song and dance. Pigment and ink on silk in a fine brocade border with lacquered red wooden rollers. It is 25 x 78 inches (63.5 x 198 cm). There is some loss to the gofun in the center where it was obviously folded once before being mounted in its current state.

Exquisite repairs in overlapping gold wave designs on colored lacquer drape upon the rim of this 17th century chawan tea bowl. The white clay is covered with millet colored glaze upon which have been scrawled simple designs like the character for person (hito). The bowl is 10.5 x 10 x 6 cm (4-1/4 x 4 x 2-1/2 inches) and is in excellent condition, in a modern kiri-wood collectors’ box.
