Beautiful and rare mid-century modern bracelet by Salvador Teran, c. 1955. The matching brooch and earrings are featured in both editions of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. The bracelet measures 7" around in the inside when closed and is 2" wide at the widest front section. It has a secure push in clasp and original safety chain. All original, fine condition. Rare, intricately hand wrought sterling silver bracelet designed & signed c. 1950's by Taxco, Mexico artist Valentin Vidauretta. Bracelet measures 7/8" X 7" long. Weight- 54 grams. Beautiful condition with excellent patina. Valentin was the head designer in Hector Aguilar's Taller Borda workshop. His designs were often inspired by the flowers and shapes of his garden. Today we have an out of the ordinary Matl necklace featuring charms that dangle with movement. Crafted by hand when Matilde Poulat was working in her shop. This design has a 1.5in. tall presence with the charms included and a weight of 121 grams of heft. The turquoise has a warmed hue of teal and sky blues. It is a refreshing design and a rare design without birds or flowers. The condition shows only original work marks, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

TROCADERO AUCTION 2013. 1950s, fully marked signed: Los Castillo Taxco Mexico Assay # 15 and Style # 256. Sterling Green Mosaic or Mozaico Malachite Inlay SB Earrings in Origami Bird motif at just under 1 X 5/8". 3013. SB turnwheels are very secure, all mosaic intact and still unpolished. Won at auction, no info please.

Frank Patania Sr. (1899-1964) designed this textured necklace in the 1950's. The center panel measures 1 1/4" high x 1 5/8" across. The wearable length is 17" and can be adjusted down to 15" if desired. The necklace weighs 46 grams & is in beautiful condition with a warm, aged patina. Patania's FP STERLING hallmarks are found on the back of the necklace.

Margot van Voorheis Carr opened her shop in Margot de Taxco in 1948. This is her set # 5672 with 17in. wearable length for the necklace and 7.25in. long for the matching bracelet. The weight of the set is 70 grams. Properly hallmarked as shown and with no damage or repairs. The presence is rich and the beading is divine. A perfect example of when less is more, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Striking and show stopping totally describe this Los Castillo cuff. It is 2.5in. in diameter and it weighs 82 grams heavy. The face front is 2 inches tall with no dents or damage to the silver or repousse balls in the concave center. You see a tiny line of black above the inside seam but it is a line of tarnish not a split and the condition is just perfect. Hallmarked correctly as shown, eagle 15 and design number 579 A...

This Dominguez displays turquoise stones that have all warmed with time which collectors long for. While having a wearable length of 17inches it is also quite wide at 1 1/15th inches. The style of Mexico City folkloric is clearly recognizable from Matilde Poulats work in the same era. A Fantastic look with a basic white button down shirt. Stunning, heavy sterling bracelet with azur-malachite by Enrique Ledesma, c.1950. He is best known for his impeccable work fusing silver with stone. This bracelet is simply amazing with each silver link having an inlaid stripe of stone and then hinged together to join the next link. The push in clasp is invisible and the safety chain is intact. It is a large bracelet, measuring 8" around in the inside and 7/8" wide. It is 1 1/4" thick and weighs 92 grams...

A very rare Los Castillo Glyph necklace set that measures .75in. wide and 15.5in. long. There is a 2 inch extension of heavy chain that is removable if desired that can make it 17.5in. wearable. Properly hallmarked as shown and weighs 83.4 grams. There are some specs of tarnish on the bead work but no dents. This necklace has great dimension and a stream line presence. The pendant style earrings are 2 inches long and are drop dead gorgeous...

Very well designed and executed Persian silver box, the lid is decorated with delicate repousse design depicting two young couple in traditional Safavid dress drinking wine and on the side exquisite foliage decoration.
