This 14Kt white gold openwork pendant is centered by a 6X8 millimeter oval faceted natural sapphire. The weight of the sapphire is approximately 1.25Ct. Around the sapphire there are ten round tanzanites set in prong settings. The outer frame is set with forty-one single cut diamonds. The pendant measures 7/8” high and ½” wide, and comes on an 18”long 14Kt white gold chain.

A misshapen bowl excavated and assembled from several pieces using the kintsugi gold technique. Originally a kiln flaw, it was likely destroyed after creation, later to be excavated and assembled as was popular in the later Edo period. Misshapen,and with a large kutsuki on one side, it is 4 x 5 x 3 inches (10 x 12.5 x 8 cm) and comes in a wooden box.

A bizarre pottery mass of two tea bowls and a stand fused together after collapsing in the kiln some four hundred years ago. It is 17 x 13 x 11 cm (6-1/2 x 5 x 4-1/2 inches). There is something to be said here about best laid plans. All the potters craft and experience and yet nature intervenes, creating this vitrified sculpture for later generations to contemplate.

A quite large Chinese silk purse with outstanding embroidery. One side showing a deer looking at a crane on a pine, on the left four Chinese characters. The other side with a flock of swallows near a flowering tree. Edged with a black and white woven band and a silvery rim, the silk tassels having gold and silver wrapped threads. Silk lining. Condition: faded, small stains, little wear to rim. Dimension: purse: c. 17 cm x 15.5 cm, tassels: c. 18.5 cm long.

A rare okimono from the Kairakuen Kiln of the Tokugawa branch family dating from the early to mid 19th century. The box label attributes these to Eiraku (presumably Hozen, who was tasked with helping to further the ceramic production of the kiln). The rooster is roughly 7 inches tall the same in length (18 cm). Dating from the later Edo period, they come in an old wooden box with a cloth cover and are in excellent condition...
A lovely green celadon Song Dynasty jar. There is some chipping to the rim. High resolution images on request.

An Edwardian sterling silver repousse heart trinket dresser box dated 1901. This late Victorian or early Edwardian vanity box has a high relief or repousse design with flourishes, foliage and crimped edges. It has a gilt interior and a full set of hallmarks for Chester, England 1901. It has the maker's mark for Jay, Richard Attenborough & Co. (trading as Jays) and it also has the retailer's mark on the bottom (JAYS 142 144 OXFORD ST. W.)...
This pair of 14Kt white gold and diamond Art Deco style earrings is from the 1960-s. Each earring is set with one brilliant cut diamond in the center and four single cut smaller diamonds around the center stone. The approximate total weight of all ten diamonds is 0.45Ct. The earrings have screw backs, and the diameter of the earrings is 7/16 “.
A 0.25 Ct brilliant cut diamond that has H color and VS1 clarity is set in a 6 prong 14Kt white gold “buttercup “ style pendant setting. The price of the pendant includes a 14Kt white gold 18” cable chain.

Bold and striking sterling necklace designed by Karl Gustav Hansen for Hans Hansen of Denmark. This necklace is from the "Future" line of jewelry manufactured by Hans Hansen between 1932 and 1948. Measuring 15 1/4" end to end, the links are articulated so move and flow freely. The necklace terminates with a threaded screw bolt clasp. It is 3/4" wide and weighs a substantial 137 grams. Signed as shown. A very unusual and spectacular Danish Modernist design.

What an incredible old signed Los Castillo necklace! This is the only one I have ever seen. The height is 1.25in. at it's tallest point. Showing quality with rivots and a weight of 136 grams this necklace is a true collector treasure. The wearable length is 17 inches and is without any damage of any kind. The necklace is a Margot design when married to Antonio Castillo. The hallmark is the old linear mark, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Veins of green Kai-yu meander over the body of this spectacular example of Edo period Tamba Pottery capping rich red clay rising from an abrupt base. A few bubbles in the clay reveal character about the torso, the lip powerfully rendered over the shoulder, which slumps to one side like some haggard but still proud old soldier. Four looping handles (mimi) would allow the lid to be tied down. Between two a drip from the roof of the kiln has adhered to the clay forming a point of interest...
