A full 7 piece Steeped Tea Sencha Tea Set by Kiyomizu Rokubei enclosed in the original age darkened wooden box titled Seika Sansui Chaki. There are five cups, a teapot with lid, and a cooling dish. Each piece is decorated with a unique scene and poem, no two are alike. They show the mastery of brushwork this important potter, originally trained as a painter, possessed. This sleek, heavy and solid sterling silver piece was designed in the 1930's by William Spratling. Weighing 120 grams the letter opener and paperweight measures 5 inches long and is in beautiful condition with nice patina. No dents or dings. This bowl was manufactured in London in 1784 by the famous partnership of silversmiths Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp, who produced silver for the firm of Parker and Wakelin, the Royal Goldsmiths who provided silver for the Prince of Wales and for much of the nobility of England. The bowl is formed of heavy gauge silver, weighing 10.37 troy ounces...

A very good sized sculpture of Pedanda, a Brahman priest of the highest caste. This is a traditional sculpture, not a piece for tourists. It's made of hard wood, very intricately carved and has a subtle polychrome. H. 51 cm. Condition: expected age wear and a few age cracks. Please refer to the detailed pictures. A similar figure is in the collection of the 'Tropenmuseum' in Amsterdam. Provenance: Belgian private collection.

Lewis Jean Liberte (American, 1896-1965), tempera on artist board painting titled "Night on the Docks". Size: 14" x 21" (sight). Jean Liberte, a New York City artist, is known for his atmospheric night scenes in moonlight. He studied at The Cooper Union, the Art Students League and the National Academy of Design. Condition: excellent. Offered in a modern gilded frame.

Massive Chinese Jin to Yuan dynasty (12th/13th century) Henan dark brown/black glazed horizontally ribbed ovoid form stoneware jar with high, wide shoulders narrowing at the base. The thick glaze drips down toward the flat, unglazed base. The rich black/brown glaze, referred to as “temmoku” by the Japanese, is highlighted by a russet colored cylindrical neck and rim. Measures about 13” high x 13 1/2” diameter. Very good overall condition with typical surface scratches to the glaze.

Chinese carved bowenite pebble; the interior of nearly transparent pale green color carved with gold fish, ball, and a brush washer, the exterior showing the natural pebble "skin". Size; Height of this fine carving is 10 inches, in very good condition.

A patinated bronze okimono of a young woman with a beautiful face, dating around 1910. On her back a large basket and in her hand she was carrying a tool. Signed "Seiya" on the base. Dimension: 29.5 cm high, weight: 2.4 kg. Condition: tool broken off, few tiny areas with wear to the patina.

These diamond and pearl cluster earrings date back to the late Victorian era. The center pearls on each earring are surrounded by eight old miner cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.65 Ct. The 4.5 mm pearls seem to be natural pearls, but were not x-rayed.

Fine Chinese Han Dynasty Glazed Ding Tripod with Twin Fish Pattern

This fine example of a ding tripod was made during the middle of the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8) from a fairly high-fired pale reddish-brown pottery. The green colour of the glaze varies according to its thickness, the thicker the glaze the deeper the colour. In places the glaze has acquired a silvery and golden iridescence, a result of exposure to moisture during its very long burial...

The Jacopo brothers had a silver house in Mexico City named Art en Plata in which they carried artisans from Taxco as well as their own designs. Correctly hallmarked with a Taxco artist AJ and a design number 49. This necklace is extremely well crafted with a weight of 169 grams. The repousse bars are 1 1/8th tall and show a 6mm depth. There are hand made disc beads in between the matchstick bars that are 4mm thick. An excellent example which is strung on cable and exhibits no damage whatsoever...

Magnificent tureen decorated with floral patterns. The handlles in the shape of gilded lion masks. The lid crowned by a gilded Foo dog. Dimensions: 34x22x26 cm. Condition: a 7 cm hairline in the bowl, otherwise perfect.

A set of five exquisite Sencha Tea Cups of crackle-glazed pottery covered outside with black lacquer decorated with golden plum blossoms. Each bears an impressed seal in the base reading Toyosuke from the Nagoya studio of Toyoraku (also read Horaku) dating from the later 19th century. Inside each cup is a stylized single plum blossom. This set is exceptional! It is enclosed in a custom made wooden box. Each is 6.2 cm (2-1/2 inches) diameter, 4.8 cm (2 inches) tall and in excellent condition...

Margot Van Voorhies Carr designed and hallmarked this Mexican Silver Renaissance necklace. The stones are more jelly colored and are better than normally seen in Mexican silver. It is without damage and does have a wearable length of 15in. naturally to 16.5in. with an included heavy extension. The weight is 95 grams and the link is 1in. tall. I am listing on my site the matching bracelelet as shown in the last picture. A definite example for collectors, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Enrique Ledesma was known for his ability to inlay stone next to silver as if it were one continuous flow of material. This is a showy 1in. tall and 7 inches long bracelet weighing 70 grams. You can see that there is substantial stone when looking from the top view of the bracelet. Their are no cracks or chips just natural matrix running through the stone making this piece perfect for a collector and museum.
