Wonderful Modernist design in this sterling pin/pendant with tumbled stones of aventurine, onyx and jasper by Taxco silversmith Salvador Teran. Measuring 2 1/2" by 2", it is in fine original condition and weighs 42 grams. Signed as shown. Can be worn vertically on a chain or as a pin any way you please.

Measuring 11 3/4" high and 4" across base, this Okimono of a Bijin holds a scroll, which has unfurled to her feet, where a cat plays with it. In rich colors and heavy enamel, the figure is both serene and elegant. Nice detail on the robes and clothing, with gilt details on her hair ornaments and along the edge of the scroll. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or losses to enamel. Late Meiji, ca 1900

Margot van Voorheis Carr designed this wonderful, swirls and beads jeweled bracelet with great skill. She opened her own Taller in Taxco when she divorced Antonio Castillo and created a legacy in her silver designs. The piece is .75in. wide and weighs 40 grams heavy. It is quite rare to find this design with turquoise stones. This jewel exudes an extremely strong presence and is certainly a joy to wear.

A Royal Dux Woman on Waterfall 440 porcelain figure from the 1912 era with superb detail. This beautifully modeled 15-3/4" Bohemian porcelain figurine depicts a nude woman perched on rocks over a waterfall. This figure has a matte grey glaze with gold highlights. It is replete with much bocage including branches; her face is attractive and finely painted. It has the orange Royal Dux applied triangle mark with an impressed 440 pattern number along with a painted 35 and it dates to the 1910 era...

Antique Italian inlaid micro mosaic black onyx beveled glass plaque with exquisitely detailed scene of Roman Forum ruins fashioned from colored glass tesserae. Mid 19th century. No cracks or missing pieces. Never mounted as a brooch. Size: 1 5/8 inches x 2 inches.

Aguilar uses turquoise cabs in this unusual example of his braided wire bracelet which is most often seen with silver domes at the bracelet's ends. Also unusual is the petite size of the cuff. The inside measures 4 3/4" end to end with a one inch gap opening. It is 3/8" wide at the center front and 3/4" high at the turquoise cabs. The wire design is somewhat flexible allowing for a bit more length. The patina is excellent. The stones are rich in color. One stone has a pinhead size nick...

A lovely hand formed bowl in the shape of an inverted mushroom with brush strokes (Kushi-me) defining the gills and the bulbous stipe laying like a handle to one side. A speckled yellow glaze (typical of Maiko) covers the sandy clay, with a drape of green and white seeping like milk from one side. It is roughly 21 cm (8 inches) diameter and in excellent condition, stamped on the base Mahiko (In traditional writing the character for Hi is interchangeable with the character for I as is Fu and U)...

This flower basket brooch by Vrba is spectacular, huge and very three dimensional. Verba, who formerly designed for Miriam Haskell, has outdone himself on this one! Composed of glass beads and shimmering amathyst rhinestones placed in a dark metal setting, this brooch is a show stopper when worn. And, it is a treasure for the collector. Very Rare LARGE Thai 13th - 15th Century Underglazed Bowl (Ex. Grahame Clarke Collection)

This handwrought sterling belt buckle designed & signed by Spratling measures 2 1/2" across and 1 1/4" high & weighs 47 grams. A large sterling silver goblet with half ribbed cup, Sheffield, 1898, by Cleft Alexander Mawer Clark of the Alexander Clark Manufacturing Company, Sheffield, England. Size: 10.245 inches ht. Weight: 19.7 Troy ounces (including iron bar). There is a slight push-in on the base of the pedestal which produces a slight wobble. No monogram.

Japanese limited edition sosaku hanga woodblock print titled "Into the Woods” by Shiro Kasamatsu (1898-1991) dated 1955. The artist's black ink signature and red seal is within the water at the lower right corner of the image. The small rectangular "Shiro hanga" seal is in the lower right margin corner. The print is titled in kanji ("Woods") and dated 1955 in the lower margin. The numbered edition 88/100 is in pencil at the lower right margin corner with a watermark beside it...
