A very unusual Shino-yaki ceramic Tsuri-doro hanging lantern with bronze handle and chain dating from the early 20th century, Meiji to Taisho period. Made in the shape of a thatched house, four ragged posts support the roof and delineate the rounded sides. They are stamped on the base, and come in three sizes, the accompanying dice imprinted with the various sizes on each side, so a roll of the dice decides your fate in the drinking game.
