Each is of a rectangular form with serpentine shaped sides, decorated with a repousse floral design, and with acanthus capped feet and floral finials, and each bears an engraved family crest of a dove holding an olive branch in its beak...
Early American coin silver beaker by Newburyport, Mass. silversmith William Moulton IV. Circa 1800. This cup bears an original presentation inscription, engraved in script, with the name Heber Little. Condition is very good with no repairs. There are a couple of minor dents, the most noticeable being situated near the base of the vessel & aligning with the right hand end and below the name 'Little.' There is also an incipient split at the top rim (see photo detail)...
Beautiful sterling and moonstone bracelet and matching clip earrings by Antonio Pineda.The bracelet is hinged, opens in the back and has a wonderful single moonstone clasp to compliment the row of 9 moostones in the bracelet front. The earrings clip onto the ear and show 4 moonstones in front when on the ears. The bracelet measures 6 3/4" around in the inside and is 1/2" wide in the front. This beautiful Qianjiang painting of two yellow birds amid branches of pine, interspersed with flowers is a must have for any serious collector of Qiangjiang painting. The Qiangjiang artist were employed at the imperial factories and were often experts of paintings and calligraphy. This vase has a poem and is signed by the artist, the vase dates to the early Republic era C. 1916 and is without damage, and with little wear to the details. It measures 9 inches tall. A Flask shaped vase decorated with a Shishi (Mythical Lion Creature) in a rugged landscape by multi talented artist Domoto Insho enclosed in the original signed wooden box.
