Dramatic Antonio Pineda modernist silver ring wrought in his signature .970 alloy this piece is all about powerful, unencumbered movement! I am wearing it as I write and even though I can see it and I can touch it, I still I find it quite amazing that such a "simple" design, such an non-embellished execution can muster the strength of a tidal wave, cast in it fine silver and restrain it on the finger...

Bearing the stamp of the artist's estate in the lower right and on the reverse, together with the estate inventory #314. This handmade pair of Tibetan boots was typically used by the Tibetan Minority groups for centuries. Each regional Tibetan group used its own distinct colored thread design pattern. Monks and officials also could be recognized by the thread design of their boots. These were a "commoners" boot and judging by their size, they were used by a young teenager. I suspect that they were only worn once or twice and they are in wonderful condition. Heel to toe they measure 9" and stand 12" high.

Vintage mid-century mod Mexican silver cuff bracelet, this piece is a veritable ode to the sublime nature of minimalism. I adore the perfection of the curve, the heftiness of the architectural band, the fantastic patina. We don't know much about Taxco's Arte en Plata yet but I think the "arte" in their name is well-deserved. The cuff measures 6 1/2" inner circumference (including the 1 1/4" gap; perfect for smaller to medium wrists) and 7/16" in width and thickness...

Weighing 104 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown. A wonderful necklace.
