An Early Capo di Monte Jewelry Box or Coffer, with a Lidded Cover. The Hinges, Clasp and Borders are of Bronze. The Scenes Depicted are Mythological. The dimensions are 8.25" wide x 5" deep x 5" high. It dates from 1820-1840 and is in excellent condition.

Only one like this. c. 1925 Acid Etched Amber Glass, often referred to Lalique like because of its fine design, Czech Fire Polished faceted black tear drops and Signed Sterling was used to create this heirloom piece. Simple design applications allow these etched pieces to nearly stand on their own. Would have been listed in "Estate Jewelry" were it not for the new sterling fancy paper clip chain (17.5"). Pendant: 1 7/8" long. Earrings: 2.25" long.

Has been polished by previous owner, yet retains lots of very old dark patina in crevices when louped. Very Good Condition with minute normal lines sterling gets with age. Doesn't this Mexican Sterling Silver Brooch Mask Pin remind you of the faces seen on the walls of the basket ball like fields of ancient Mexico, where the losers of the tournament literally lost their heads? Very serious! This Deco piece has a nose ring dangle or drop. Marked in back: "Hecho en Mexico", then "SCF 925". A beautiful mid-century modern bronze pendant with a center agate by Pentii Sarpaneva, Finland. We do not see many pieces of Finnish jewelry in the U.S. and this one is wonderful. The pendant, including the bail measures 4" long and 2" wide at the widest point. The bronze chain is original to the pendant and measures 24" end to end. This piece is in fine original condition and signed P. Sarpaneva Finland Bronze. A rare and beautiful pendant.

An exquisite sterling collar type necklace by Reveriano Castillo, c.1950. Castillo apprenticed with William Spratling and Hector Aguilar and opened his own shop in 1952. His talent is evident in this necklace. A strong design, this piece measures 15 1/4" end to end and is 1 7/8" wide. The push in clasp is tight. It is in fine original condition and signed for Reveriano Castillo. Looks smashing on the neck and makes a bold statement.

Large scroll or ribbon pin by William Spratling c. 1945. It is pictured on page 45 of Morrill and Berk's book MEXICAN SILVER. It is crafted of sections of silver with copper and gold. A bold size, measuring 3" by 2 1/4", it is in fine original condition, weighs 37 grams, and is appropriately signed for William Spratling as shown in the photo. A glorious pin.

A hand forged antique iron water pot with bronze lid for use in the Japanese Zen Tea Ceremony; handles in the shape of dragonflies embedded in the side. The upper half is grooved with concentric rings; spread wings of the dragonflies conform to the shape of the bowl while jointed bodies project out in 3-D almost 1 inch from the surface. 2 antique iron ring handles (included) are run through the body between the wings. The heavy bronze lid features a 5 petal plum blossom finial...

A Doucai vase painted on the pear shaped body with detached floral and fruit sprays beneath a lappet collar at the waisted neck, the bulbous mouth encircled by a floral meander, a Qianlong seal mark on the base, dating 19th century. Condition : Foot rim restored. High : 20.5 cm.
