This is a BEAUTIFUL CAMEO from a Delaware Estate. Circa 1900 this CAMEO is Carved Conch Shell depicting HEBES AND THE EAGLE. This is a popular mythological motif with the EAGLE representing ZEUS. HEBES or JUVENTAS was the ROMAN GODDESS OF YOUTH, DAUGHTER OF ZEUS AND HERA and often shown with the EAGLE of ZEUS. Set in a light 14K GOLD FRAME this Brooch measures 1 9/16" X 2" overall. Crossover Pin and a C Clasp on the back helps date this work of ART circa 1900...

Sold. Rectangular, Linear with stripes of Cobalt Blue, Emerald Green and Golden Yellow Enamel and a Square Blue Art Glass Cabochon with tiny mold lines at center. Simply marked with a "U" and an arrow for Uncas. Heavily gold plated or gold filled, though not marked as such. Well taken care of as very little if any wear can be noted. Size 6 and the top is 7/8" X just under 1/2" wide...

SOLD. Though not in the linear Arts Crafts style, this unmarked ring from a Boston area household is nonetheless in the same bench made discipline. This type often has a small rectangular tab stamped 'Handmade Sterling'. This one has neither, yet it is guaranteed tested to be at least sterling. Look at the applied chased leaves, flower petals, curls all layered on to a rectangular base with a double row 2mm shank. 7/8" X 5/8"...

American designer Patrice uses semi-precious stones in her jewelry. In this case olive jade and charoite with brass and vermilion for the pendant and earrings. The necklace itself is composed of freshwater pearls and gold plated chain. Necklace is 17", pendant is 3" by 2 1/2". The clip earrings are 1" square. Note the beautiful butterfly on the back of the pendant.

Beautiful pre-eagle sterling cuff bracelet by Los Castillo. Classic curving lines and applied ball design. Measures 5 1/2" around in the inside with a 1 3/8" opening, it is 1 1/4" wide and weighs 74 grams. Great original condition and signed and numbered for Los Castillo. This could easily become your favorite bracelet.

Magnificent sterling and onyx necklace by Antonio Pineda. The jagged shaped links are strung on a double silver chain and they all move. There is an interesting pattern in the front section of the necklace where some links have a cut out section and the facing link has a diamond shaped inset onyx.This spectacular necklace measures approximately 15" around in the inside ( cannot be exact as it curves) and is 1" wide in the front and the links taper to 1/2" in the back...

A fabulous hand hammered sterling and stone pin from the notable Chicago Arts & Crafts workshop Carence Crafters. Pieces from this workshop are scarce and highly collectible.They represent some of the finest handmade work from the American Arts & Crafts period ,1890-1920. This fine pin measures 1 5/8" by 1". It is in beautiful condition. I am not sure, but the pin may have been replaced. Signed for Carence Crafters as shown. A rare and inspiring piece from this great time of handmade jewelry.

Beautiful quality and design in this Ben Amun necklace. Bronze color metal. The amber colored glass cabochons are translucent, the other colors are opaque. The age of this is unknown;it is probably early to mid twentieth century. It is signed Ben Amun in several places. The necklace is 19 1/2" end to end with an additional extension of 2". The pendant is 3 1/2" long, including the drop and it is 2" wide.

Fun and fanciful!Miriam Haskel has used glass beads, pink iridescent crystals and tiny rhinestones to create this bracelet. It can be worn at the wrist or further up the arm. It is old Haskell with the horseshoe mark (visible in the enlargement) placing it most probably in the 1940's. Expands to fit any size.

Late Meiji to early Showa (1895-1930) period Satsuma covered bowl. Measures 8 3/4" diameter and is 5 1/4" high with the cover on. Decorated in a moriage pattern with young boys (Karako) playing at various pastimes, highly detailed painting interspersed with raised white moriage dots. The interior of the bottom and the lid are both decorated with an elaborate scene of birds flying amongst a profusion of flowers. Excellent condition with no cracks or chips or restorations.

Using a Circa 1890 Art Nouveau Filigree Found Half Buckle, Mimi has made this necklace by adding unfinished brass, Aqua and Iridescent Blue Black Czech Cut Glass Beads to create a very unique set. Need it be said that there is Not another like this!?

Contemporary American designer Karen Bachman has created these elegant lucite bracelets. This is a gorgeous custom made, handmade moonstone and genuine ruby pin set in sterling. It is c.1940 and measures 3 1/4" long including the dangling moonstone,and 2 1/2" diameter. All of the stones are individually prong set. The moonstones are clear, blue and beautiful. All stones are in fine condition and original. This is a fabulous coat or blazer pin and the moonstone lover should be absolutely DELIGHTED with this brooch.

Smashing, LARGE mixed metals belt buckle in the form of a fish by Antonio Pineda. Although several of the Taxco silversmiths worked with mixed metals, I have never seen a piece before in mixed metals by Antonio so I would think this belt buckle to be quite rare. Great looking minimalist ebony and sterling earrings by American Modernist jeweler Ed Levin.C. 1950, these are screwbacks and hang 1 3/8" long. The ebony disk is 3/4" diameter. Signed LEVIN STERLING on the back of one of the disks in block letters. They are wonderful.

Sam Kramer is considered the most significant Modernist jeweler in the U.S. He opened his studio/shop in 1939 in Greenwich Village. Kramer's jewelry was inspired by Surrealist art and a medium for his own kind of expression. American studio jeweler Betty Cooke opened her first retail space in 1946 in Baltimore.Her style is considered spontaneous and according to the book MESSENGERS OF MODERNISM " she likes to think of her jewelry as metal action pieces which are based on the curve." This great bracelet certainly fits that description with the lines bending and curving in several directions as it embraces a large central oval black onyx. This circa 1940's Mammy and Uncle Mose ceramic Vinegar and Oil Set is marked "JAPAN" on each figure's base.

The pair measures approximately 5.25 inches tall and is in wonderful, all original condition! No chips, cracks or repairs. Mild surface crazing present as is appropriate to the age. Uncle Mose is missing a portion of his original cork neck stopper - a very minor inconvenience!
