This is a wood fired salt glazed teabowl or yunomi by McKenzie Smith. It measures approximately 4" tall and 3.5" in diameter. It is in excellent condition and is signed with McKenzie's chop mark. This is a very nice wood fired studio pottery bowl by well known Seagrove, NC potter Ben Owen III. It is glazed in a wood fired shino variation that Ben refers to as copper penny. It was fired in Ben's pappagama kiln. The bowl has a combed texture and and nice variation, crystal growth and ash deposits in the glaze from the wood firing. The bowl is signed Ben Owen III. It measures approximately 7.5" in diameter and 4.5" tall and is in excellent condition.

This is a nice wood fired bowl by North Carolina artists Will Ruggles and Douglass Rankin of the Rock Creek Pottery. Will Ruggles and Douglass Rankin are well known as potters and kiln designers/builders. They exhibited widely until 2005 when the decided to limit their exhibition schedule.
