This is a huge studio pottery sculpture by NC potter John Ransmeier. It has a shino glaze. It measures approximately 12" tall and is signed Ransmeier 2005. John Ransmeier studied at the Kansas City Art Institute and at Alfred University. He also studied with well known potter Paul Chaleff. He is a member of the Southern Highlands Craft Guild.
