Cats are a favorite of some people, and this carving by Oaxacan artisan Eleazar Morales is a fine example of "fantasy animal" folkart. The body of the sitting cat is painted turquoise, with blue and turquoise circles, light blue irregular dots and a red and yellow pattern.
