This iguana by Felipe Ramirez, highly creative Oaxacan artisan, is finely carved and is a muted golden yellow with a geometric design in green with lavender, red and blue. The fan around the neck is green, red and blue with black trim. It has a raised black ridge down the back with gold trim. Approximate dimensions: 11" Long x 11" Wide x 4" High.

Mauricio Ramirez creates really wonderful iguanas, and this is a good example of his talent. It is bright turquoise with a fan around the neck of blue, gold and green and has a long curved tail. Accents are red with a darker turquoise, coral, lavender and bright pink. A ridged spine is black and purple and eyes are blue and feet accented with blue. Dimensions approximately: 15" Long x 14" Wide x 5" High.

Moises Jimenez, of the famous Jimenez family of Oaxacan carvers, has created this wonderful, highly stylized anteater. It is black with multiple gray lines and white with black lines. Highly talented artisan Eleazar Morales has created this charming purple zebra. It is very well carved, with delicate legs and a turned body position. The zebra's purple and black stripes, with a lavender underside, are quite whimsical, and the face is very appealing, with large brown eyes.
