This is a hand woven basket made by NC artist Billie Ruth Sudduth. It measures approximately 14.5" tall and is in excellent condition. It is signed Sudduth 2006. Billie Ruth's work is represented in the Smithsonian Institution's Renwick Gallery; the Museum of Art and Design in New York; the Mint Museum of Art; Glaxo; and Bank of America collections. In 1997, she was named a North Carolina Living Treasure.

This is a random weave, Cranberry Creek basket made Greg and Carla Filipelli. Greg and Carla reside in the Blue Ridge Mountains. They are known for there organic basket forms made of hand dyed reeds, fibers and wild vines. They are members of the Southern Highlands Craft Guild. This basket is signed CCB. It is in excellent condition and measures approximately 14" wide and 4.5" tall.
