This unique squash with bees is the creation of the imaginative and talented Mixe group of artisans, who are from the eastern region of Oaxaca state. The colorfully painted squash carving is shades of green and orange, with intricately crafted orange and yellow flowers and detailed dark green leaves made of leather. The flower stems are natural wood painted green. The bees are separate pieces and can be moved about as desired. Approximate dimensions: 5" Long x 6" Wide x 16" High.
