This rare, modernist bowl is quite exquisite. It is made by Aage Wiemar, Denmark. It has an approximate diameter of 3" and stands about 7/8". The bottom of the bowl is marked PURE SILVER AAGE WEIMAR DENMARK and has 4 other maker's marks/hallmarks below the above. The third mark is 9584. The bottom also has marks that are made by hand. The bowl/dish weighs just over 4 ounces.

This is a very elegant "stick" for a seal. It shows a dragon chasing a sacred pearl. The material is a very warm deep yellow soapstone, it is about 100 years old, in excellent condition. The dragon is very long and he writhes through the seal.
