Striking sterling ring by Aleut Denise Wallace that she calls the "WOMAN IN THE MOON" ring. She makes this ring in a small and large scale and this is the large scale. The face of the ring is hinged on a door that opens to reveal a second face. This design comes from a mask carved by both Yup’ik and Athabascan natives. The ring is a size 8, weighs 29 grams and is in fine original condition. The front of the ring is 1 1/2" long and 1 1/8" wide. Signed and dated 1995 as shown.
