A splendid 17-1/2" carved and lathe turned bakelite necklace c1920s-30s. This necklace consists of turned and hand-carved bakelite beads in oval, round and barrel forms; the colours include off-white, swirled tan, 2 colour pale green and brown. Most beads have variable colour layers and stripes, and the between triple disc striped spacers are all one piece. This unsigned necklace has the original brass barrel clasp and it ranges from 3/16" to 3/4" wide...
Nettie Rosenstein hinged bangle bracelet and dangle earrings, handsomely crafted as always. The set, 1940-50's, is beautifully designed, and the bracelet is heavy and chunky. As with everything we present, it is in excellent condition. The opening at the rim of the oval bracelet is 2 1/2" by 2 1/4" and the bracelet is 1 3/4" wide. The bracelet has the name plate stamped Nettie Rosenstein Sterling. The earrings are 1 3/4" long from the top of the clip...
Hattie Carnegie's green pendant necklace and dangle earrings is a dazzling show stopper. The rich green colors of the prong set rhinestones are enhanced by the crisp sparkle of the clear prong set rhinestones. Note the unusual shape of the dangle clip earrings. Necklace is 18" end to end. Pendant is 3 1/2" by 3 1/2". Clip earrings are 2 1/2" long from the top of the clip and 1 1/4" wide. One earring has the Hattie Carnegie oval name plate.
