Attributed to Montano Gibbson There are 10 conchos, each measuring 3" by 2" and are backed with 2 copper loops to accept the black leather belt. The buffalos are oxydized and indented. A lovely Chinese carved green jade pendant in the form of a melon with a crane, leaf and integral bail ring. The jade has good translucency, light mottling, and nicely saturated color.

The crane, appearing along the upper left side of the melon's front, frequently represents longevity; the coins prosperity; and the melon itself has a number of meanings including fertility and plenty.

The pendant was originally one of several carvings incorporated into a very good 1920s Chinese necklace...

The color enhanced deep lavender jade is set in sterling silver mounts into which tiny faceted hematite stones have been inset. Each jade link has been joined by a silver Chinese character. The silver clasp likewise has a cut Chinese character and has two safety catches on each side as well.

Gorgeous big statement vintage 1970s or earlier Santo Domingo Native American necklace with large graduated turquoise nuggets spaced with small shell heishe beads, and with heishe beads at the ends, and with small silver wire hook clasp. It weighs 191 grams. 25 inches wearable length and the largest bead is 1 3/8 inches wide. Excellent condition with some discoloration of the turquoise stabilizing material on a few beads toward the ends, not noticeable at a short distance...

Outstanding very big vintage Santo Domingo necklace with a double strand of turquoise free form beads and spiny oyster heishe beads, and two large jaclas with turquoise heishe beads and cream stone beads. With the original stringing done in the traditional manner, on heavy string with some ends visible. Collectors may wish to preserve this but it could certainly be restrung. Wearable length is 26 inches. The jaclas drop 5 inches. 286 grams. Excellent condition. Display form is life size...

This pair of low grade silver Chinese Bracelets are Miao Ethnic Minority. Low grade silver was used extensively throughout China during the 19th and early 20th century. To a Westerner the backs look like the bracelets are adjustable, this is a decorative element only and they are not adjustable. The fronts are deeply etched with animals. At the widest point in the front the bracelets measure 1.25 inches...
