These rare and beautiful earrings are circa 1800. They are called day/night earrings as the bottoms detach for daytime wear and then can be added for evening formal wear. There are four faceted foil back citrines surrounded by small rose cut diamonds. They are set in 15 karat gold and silver. The backs are bulbous and lovely from every angle.
