A tiny enameled violet and a free-hanging baroque freshwater pearl enhance the dainty 10K gold pendant, complete with a curb link chain. Violets were used to represent the sentiments of love and faithfulness in the Victorian era. The pearl has nice luster that contrasts prettily with the colors of the enamel. Anyone looking for an antique diamond engagement ring, this is the ring you should look at. Dating back to the 1920-s is this beautifully created openwork 18Kt white gold six-prong basket setting that holds a 1.09 Ct old-mine diamond. The diamond is not certified, but our in-house gemologist graded it to be L color and VS2 clarity. This stone has a lot of sparkle, and the setting enhances that look. The ring is a size 6 and can easily be sized.

A pair of fine shakudo ornaments originally mounted in Victorian times as a pair of cuff buttons, and then re-imagined by our jeweler as an elegant split-chain pendant necklace. The two plaques feature a court lady and gentleman in Meiji-period costume. After the collapse of the feudal Samurai system in Imperial Japan, Europeans collected old sword and armor fittings such as these to set as jewelry. The mountings and chain are 14K.
