This beautiful pin / brooch by Askel Holmsen has a diameter of 1 1/8". It is sterling vermeil with vivid, yellow enamel (basse-taille or guilloche) with a great design. The back is marked NORWAY STERLING, the Holmsen maker's mark / hallmark NORWAY STERLING 925 S,” and has the Holmsen maker’s mark which looks like 2 interlocking, horizontal V's: the are actually 2 overlapping silversmith tools. The brooch has a C-catch and a diameter of 1”. It is in superb condition. c 1950s

Famous design by Nanna Ditzel for Georg Jensen in 18K, Denmark, c.1960. Nanna Ditzel passed away in 2005. Made of very heavy gauge gold(weighs 15 grams), this minimal modernist design is size 5 1/2 and is 1 1/4" high at center edge. Signed "GEORG JENSEN 750 18K 1091 DENMARK", it is in very good condition except for a few wear lines, tiny scratches, and a tiny dent on the edge of the ring. Jade, ancient symbol of perfection, power and immortality is the STONE of the season. A classic 14K yellow gold and Jade man's ring, circa 1940, size 10, easily re-sized, stamped 14K and monogrammed in script LBC to CY. The jade cabochon has a nice translucency and measures 12 x 15mm; total weight of 6.2 grams. Condition is excellent.

Gold screwback earrings with large carved apple jade drops. 1920s, with Chinese marks. Also marked 14K. Together they weigh 4 grams. Nice size -- 2 inches long and 9/16 inch wide. Excellent condition. One jade drop has a line -- it is visible in photos. It can be felt on the outside but the stone is completely stable and is not noticeable except in enlarged photos. Fabulous and early vintage yellow gold and carved jade drop screwback earrings with Chinese motifs. Circa 1925. Not marked, but they test positive for at least 14KT gold. Together they weigh 4 grams. The carving on the drops is double sided and photos show both sides.

A magnificent Art Deco 18K white gold ring set with a 1.49-ct Burmese ruby surrounded by round diamonds. The ruby has a pure, vivid red color and eye-clean clarity. Geometric design 14K rose gold earrings circa 1940s. Similar to the tank track bracelets made in that period, may have matched a bracelet, or may have been cufflinks originally and later made in to pierced earrings.

Very special Art Nouveau gold filled double-sided "Mercury" motif pendant, circa 1900. In Roman mythology, Mercury was the messenger and protector. This beautifully executed pendant is circle shaped and features a youthful Mercury wearing a winged helmet surrounded by eight marcasite stars, hinged at the base, reverse side with script monogram EMJ. Size: 1 1/2" dia. Condition is very good. Front is perfect. Wear to the reverse plate.
