This charm/pendant, in the shape of Arizona, depicts a map of The Grand Canyon State, its major cities: Scottsdale, Tucson, and its Capital, Phoenix which is highlighted by a ruby. It measures 3/4" x 5/8" (at its longest and widest) x 1/16". It also outlines The Grand Canyon. The backside reads ARIZONA and is marked 14K. It has good heft. There are slight surface scratches but the charm is still in excellent condition.

A nice vintage 18K yellow gold spherical charm studded with red cabochons (possibly stained red chalcedony). The gold surfaces are nicely decorated with bright-cut engraving that simulates the beading of classic Etruscan pieces. Large charms of this sort were very popular during the 1950s and 60s. Very special Art Nouveau gold filled double-sided "Mercury" motif pendant, circa 1900. In Roman mythology, Mercury was the messenger and protector.
