A rare and beautiful set from Margot de Taxco includes a large confetti enamel Necklace with a large Fish at the center and Wave shaped links at the sides along with the matching Wave earrings. These earrings produced by Hector Aguilar are a book-piece design, shown p. 87 Silver Masters of Mexico. They have a stunning deco design, with bell shaped pendants which are deeply incised. Circa 1948-1955, Hector Aguilar's Armadillo necklace is a work of art. It's a spectacular showpiece, with eleven overlapping discs which graduate in size and hang from a black velvet ribbon. Intricately designed 970 sterling silver bracelet designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico modernist artist Antonio Pineda. Bracelet is 6 1/2"Long X 3/4"W. Beautiful condition with no dents, dings or repairs. Catch is tight and secure. Safety chain attached. This 1950's design called "Armadillo Scales" was featured in the recent Antonio museum exhibit and is pictured on p.127 of the catalog - SILVER SEDUCTION THE ART OF MEXICAN MODERNIST ANTONIO PINEDA.

Circa pre-1960, this necklace produced by Matilde Poulat has a generous length of 23", with a 3 1/4" wide center. There are amethyst stations on each side, with double chains continuing up the neck. The palomas sit next to a vase with turquoise flowers. Length on the center is 2 1/2".

Weight is a substantial 91.1 grams.

Signed and hallmarked "Matl Mexico 925 Patente 10966", along with the eagle assay 129.

Intricately constructed in 970 sterling, this Antonio Pineda bracelet weighs a hefty 99 grams. It stands 3/4 inch high and has a wearable length up to 6 3/4". Each of the 9 gorgeous oval stones are 1/2" long. The design allows the stones to move or float freely within their frames. All stones are in beautiful condition. The turquoise clasp and safety chain are in excellent condition with beautiful patina. Stamped on the clasp with Antonio's crown hallmark.

Circa 1949-1953, this bracelet bears the "Jewels by Antonio" hallmark - one which is not often seen. It's an elegant and exquisite bracelet, with eight panels, each with a gorgeous round moonstone.
