A substantial and heavily oxidized sterling bracelet by Jose Luis Flores. An apprentice of Spratling, Flores also worked in the ateliers of Hector Aguiar,Miguel Martinez and Emma Melendez. Signed Miguel in script, Taxco,Sterling JLF along with a slightly obliterated number. There are faint scratches. The bracelet measures 7-1/4 x 1-3/8 and weighs 80.7gr.

This early Antonio Pineda bracelet is quite rare and all out spectacular. His "Silver By Tono" hallmark dates 1948-1953. Eight teardrop amethyst cabs in almost pure silver panels which alternate up and down, each separated by four silver balls. Pin closure. Weight is 98.9 grams. Measures 8" end to end, width 1 1/4". Closed, wearable length is 6 3/4". Signed and hallmarked "Silver By Tono Mexico". In excellent vintage condition.

Every link in this set is 6/16th of an inch tall and 1.75in.across. The length is 15in. plus with the necklace built on a curve it adds a bit more length. Look carefully at the full underside of the bracelet for the clear but spread apart (hard to get all in one photo) hallmarks revealing AP, an eagle 22 and sterling Mexico for Abraham Paz. The SPRATLING DE MEXICO hallmarks suggest that Spratling designed this intricately constructed silver & chrysocolla mosaic brooch in 1949-50. This was shortly after his Alaskan design period. In beautiful condition, the pin measures 4 1/3" long & weighs 38 grams. The pin back & safety are tight & secure.
