A pair of Mexican sterling silver cutout cufflinks from the 1960s. These vintage cuff links measure 7/8" x 5/8" and they have a cutout or shadowbox design with black interior patina. They have fixed swing-backs, one is stamped HECHO EN MEXICO D.F. STERLING 925 with an R.B.Z maker's mark and they weigh 8.0 grams. They are in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This Los Castillo design 262 is an early one created when Margot Van Voorhies was married to Don Antonio Castillo. I believe these early pieces are the very best of her work. Stunning in size with an almost 2 inches of height and a weight of 84 grams of almost pure 980 silver. The condition reflects no damage and also well cared for over time. The diameter is 2.25 inches with the gap set at 1in. This can be professionally adjusted for most to fit. One of the best from the Spratling Era.

This is a stunning necklace with a timeless elegance by the famous and highly sought after Fred Davis. It consists of three rows of silver half domes that slightly overlap and when closed creates a continuous design. Gerardo Lopez known for his ability to work beautiful repousse silver with his own creative designs. The quality of his work is outstanding and always made of silver with heft. I have also with this necklace from the original Taller. We so rarely find boxes and I am including the box that this necklace came in. The drop is 1.5in. across and 1.75in. tall and properly hallmarked as shown. 18.5in. of wearable length. The beading is granulated, tiny and each one hand made...

This interesting pin is constructed of four flat, interlocking rings and has a nice heft to it. The rollover clasp is original to the piece and in good working order. The back bears the maker's mark of a conjoined HT, an unidentified silversmith who also worked with Estela Popowski, as well as independently. There are four other marks on the back: an eagle 20, a Hecho en Mexico mark and two sterling marks. The pin measures 2 inches long by 1 inch wide. Gross weight: 14.9 grams

When you find a Hector Aguilar with stones and as exceptional as these colorful stones, you have found a rare treasure. This necklace is a bit over one inch tall and has a length of 18inches. The silver is 940 pure giving it a whiter contrast than most other designers using 925 silver. No damage to this necklace as it has been well loved and the condition shows us that. This early Antonio Pineda bracelet is quite rare and all out spectacular. His "Silver By Tono" hallmark dates 1948-1953. Eight teardrop amethyst cabs in almost pure silver panels which alternate up and down, each separated by four silver balls. Pin closure. Weight is 98.9 grams. Measures 8" end to end, width 1 1/4". Closed, wearable length is 6 3/4". Signed and hallmarked "Silver By Tono Mexico". In excellent vintage condition.

This past year seems to have been a Carmen Beckmann year for One Good Eye Silver. And even though I cannot claim it was because of planning, it has not been entirely out of luck either. One of the few female contributors to Mexico’s 20th c Silver Renaissance that we know of, Beckmann’s jewelry are works of a confident designer, impeccably finished and at her best moments, incredibly creative as well...

Measuring 27" long, this 940 sterling silver & copper necklace was designed c. 1940-50's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). The center disc is 1 1/2" wide graduating to 1/2" at the back. Weight is 124 grams. Beautiful condition & patina. Each disc is connected to the next with a silver rivet giving the design fluid movement. Signed TAXCO HA 940 eagle #9. A similar necklace is pictured on p. 140 of Silver Masters of Mexico by Penny Morrill.

This nice link charm bracelet is sterling silver. It is 6 1/2" long. On the back of the box clasp it is marked Jencha (in script), then a decorative line surrounding 0.925, HECHO EN MEXICO with eagle number 29. It's solid and in excellent condition.

Classic Antonio Pineda bangle bracelet wrought in the maestro's favorite, .970 fine silver alloy with deep notches all around it that appear more dramatic thanks to the intentionally applied oxidation. There is something about Antonio's jewelry that bring them close to your heart as soon as you first see them and this piece is no exception. Spratling described this stunning design as "a wide Aztec bracelet with framed buttons" according to Goddard's spratlingsilver.com. It was one of Spratling's most popular designs in the 1930's - 1940's and still is today. Weighing 185 grams, the bracelet measures 2" high at the front with 1 1/8" opening at the back. The interior measures 2 1/2" across the inside. The bracelet is in beautiful condition with an aged patina. The design is also referred to as River of Life bracelet.

Chunky fine, .970 silver and gorgeous, appetizingly curvaceous tiger's eye spheres come together in this set of Mexican cufflinks by Taxco's renowned modernist, Antonio Pineda. The specific design is very popular in necklace and bracelet form but when it surfaces, it is usually with chrysoprase or aventurine or some other green stone. This is the first time I have seen it with tiger's eye and I have to admit, I love the combination...

A forged wire pendant composed of drops of various lengths is attached to a chain of shorter, peaked forged bars linked by securely soldered rings. The necklace has a nice heft, but it quite comfortable. The back bears the circular impressed Mexican silver mark with central maker’s initials of possibly OBC, and the eagle 1 mark.
